Non-supersymmetric strings
My research mainly focuses on investigating the stability (perturbative and non-perturbative) of backgrounds that one can make using 10-dimensional non-supersymmetric strings without tachyons. We also investigate the possibility of getting deSitter spacetime from the one-loop correction that one gets in these string theories. The following paper contains my investigations, with my collaborators, in this direction. Various directions are being explored by my collaborators and me presently.
Conformal Field Theories
Another branch of my research investigates the methods to constrain the consistent boundary conditions for 2-dimensional conformal field theories. The following paper contains my investigations, with my collaborators, in this direction.
Foundations of Physics
A minor component of my research interests consists of understanding the foundations of physics better and investigating different schemes to derive the known physics. The following paper contains my investigations with my collaborator in this direction.
